More About Equus Maximus
Horses in Tracy’s program undergo a comprehensive physical evaluation. Based on this assessment, along with veterinary records and the horse’s history, Tracy designs a custom recovery and training plan. Utilizing Corrective Muscle Exercises, Equine Physical Therapy, Massage, and other modalities, together with Classical Horsemanship, Natural Horsemanship, and veterinarian-recommended rehabilitation procedures, she enhances healing and strengthen horses while optimizing their performance levels.
Tracy believes in the importance of preventing injuries by early recognition of developing issues from physical and behavioral cues shown by the horses. Her goal is to maximize and maintain the horses’ physical condition and educate people on recognizing and addressing potential issues early.
She holds certifications as an Equinology Certified Massage Therapist and an EAGALA certified Equine Professional. She has completed courses in Equine Physical Rehabilitation and Wound Care, including a nine-month internship with Summer Terry at Superior Therapy in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Superior Therapy worked closely with DMV Cliff Honas in the development of protocols for post-surgery physical therapy for Kissing Spine Surgery, and continues to contribute valuable insights to veterinarians performing Kissing Spine surgery in Texas and Oklahoma.
Tracy currently operates in the Southeastern United States, regularly attending AERC/FEI Endurance Rides and working with both horses and humans in the region.
